Condition: Very nice original condition overall with minor honest wear consistent with age and use; solid stainless steel case appears to be unpolished with razor-sharp bevels and the original finishes throughout; screw-down caseback exhibits minimal wear; gorgeous original dial with crisp printing throughout, vibrant colors, and all lume plots present (lume plots have aged to a very attractive yellow hue); original hands (original lume has aged to a darker hue)

Other: If you're looking for a quality vintage stainless steel sport chronograph on a budget, it's difficult to beat a Wittnauer 228T at this price point. It can be worn with just about anything and the clean overall design is reminiscent of Gallet MultiChron models from this era. At 35mm in diameter and 44mm lug-to-lug, it sits comfortably on the wrist and slides nicely under a cuff. This particular example is from the 1960s and features a beautiful white dial with applied "W" logo and vibrant blue and red colors. We love the "torch" indices with a yellow lume plot on the outer edge of each hour marker. The mesh bracelet gives it a cool retro vibe that matches the period.
