Model: 6/0-D United States Military-Issue Watch (World War II-era); manufactured in the United States of America circa early 1940s

Case: Solid stainless steel "passivated" case (non-reflective) with screw-down back is approximately 32mm excluding the original oversized winding crown; "Q 43" is written in faded black marker on the inside of the caseback

Strap: Vintage new old stock (NOS) period-correct 16mm OD (Olive Drab) green canvas pass-thru strap (water repellent) with tang buckle; includes original cardboard display

Movement: Waltham cal. 6/0-D manual-winding movement (17 jewels) with subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock; 4 adjustments; 18,000 BPH; manufactured in the U.S.A.; includes original dust cover

Features: Attractive Radium dial with honest patina and subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock; correct Radium blued-steel "cathedral" handset; United States Army Ordinance Corps issue (World War II-era); "passivated" stainless steel case (non-reflective and designed for military use)

Condition: Very nice original condition overall with minor honest wear consistent with age and use; dial exhibits natural patina throughout (mostly due to Radium exposure); correct Radium blued-steel handset with matching patina; minute hand is missing some luminous material

Other: There is a lot to love about this watch, especially if you have a deep appreciation for military history like we do. Justin's grandfather served proudly in World War II, so this one really speaks to him personally - What a fantastic conversation piece! It should come as no surprise that it looks best under the cuff of a green military jacket.
