Condition: Very nice original condition overall with minor wear consistent with age and use; solid stainless steel case is thick and appears to have been lightly polished in the past; all engravings on the caseback remain clearly visible; attractive original matte black dial with some minor patina within the white sub-dials; Tritium luminous elements have aged to an incredible yellow hue throughout; fantastic original handset with matching yellow Tritium patina to the luminous elements
Other: We absolutely love this Wakmann Triple Date Chronograph and believe that it is one of the most undervalued vintage watches on the market today. It is powered by a high-grade movement based on the legendary Valjoux 72, but with triple calendar functions and a higher beat rate (21,600 BPH) for improved accuracy. The 37mm stainless steel case wears extremely well on the wrist, which comes as no surprise given that it's the same size as a manual-winding vintage Rolex Daytona. It's also versatile and can be dressed up or down making it difficult to beat if you've got a budget under $3,000!
