Condition: Mint original condition overall with only minor honest wear consistent with age and light use; unpolished 37mm solid stainless steel case; crisp screw-down caseback remains clearly legible; beautiful original matte black dial with vibrant white sub-registers; Tritium luminous elements have aged to an incredible yellow hue throughout; excellent original handset with matching yellow Tritium lume; new domed acrylic crystal (original is also included with the watch)

Other: We absolutely love this Wakmann Triple Date Chronograph and believe that it is one of the most undervalued vintage watches on the market today. This is most likely the best example that we've ever offered for sale (and we've sold many). The yellow lume is absolutely amazing as is the clean and vibrant reverse-panda dial. It is powered by a high-grade movement based on the legendary Valjoux 72, but with triple calendar functions and a higher beat rate (21,600 BPH) for improved accuracy. The 37mm stainless steel case wears extremely well on the wrist, which comes as no surprise given that it's the same size as a manual-winding vintage Rolex Daytona. It's also extremely versatile and can be dressed up or down making it difficult to beat if you've got a somewhat modest budget.
