Other: This vintage Seiko "Bullhead" is the definition of cool - How did Seiko pack so many features into one watch while retaining such a balanced and appealing design aesthetic? We love the brown dial and tachymeter bezel! The quick-set day of the week can be displayed in English or Spanish, and Sunday is shown in red. Seiko opted for a yellow chronograph seconds hand on this model for increased legibility and it all just works so well. This particular "Bullhead" comes straight from the family of the original owner in superb original condition on its desirable original Seiko "Fishbone" bracelet. It is ready to wear trackside or pair with your vintage Japanese sports car. It wears smaller than its stated size given that the crown and pushers are on top of the case. Brad Pitt's character actually wore a similar vintage "Bullhead" chronograph from Citizen in the recent movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood - It's worth seeing if you haven't already!
For peace of mind, the case was completely disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned by our watchmaker with a new crystal and fresh gaskets installed at that time. The in-house 6138 movement has manual-winding capability (unlike the 6139), but also features a smooth column-wheel and vertical-clutch engagement system.
