Other: If you were born in 1991, this would be a perfect birthyear watch! While vintage Omega Speedmaster watches are not exactly rare, pristine original examples like this are becoming exceedingly difficult to find. This example still has its factory red wax seal in tact on the caseback indicating that it has never been opened. It is all original down to the spring bars. We love the display back on this uncommon "Apollo XI" commemorative model, which shows off a beautiful gilt 861 movement inside. The watch is absolutely stunning on the wrist, especially in direct sunlight where the yellow Tritium patina really explodes. It keeps great time and the chronograph functions smoothly as it should. For much less than the cost of a current brand new Speedmaster, going vintage is a no-brainer - especially if you can find one like this... With all of the important Omega Speedmaster watches coming up for auction, we expect vintage prices to continue to rise.
