The quality of the finishing on this watch is pretty exceptional for its time. Just take a look at the vertically-brushed silver dial with crisp brushed/polished hour markers. They really catch the light, especially out in the sun. The original luminous hands feature beveled edges with a clean brushed surface down the center. We love how the original shiny silver tension ring compliments the brushed silver dial - Check out those yellow lume plots! Basically the entire watch is a combination of brushed and polished silver surfaces with minimal black printing and some gorgeous lume. The slim profile of the 35mm Ocean Star case wears incredibly well on the wrist and slides effortlessly under the cuff of a shirt or jacket. A simple and balanced overall design allow this watch to be worn with just about anything. This particular example comes complete with its original inner and outer Mido boxes, guarantee booklet (filled out with serial number and sale date of November 27, 1968), instruction booklet, world wide service booklet, and hang-tag.
