Features: Super cool blue and red yachting regatta countdown register designed and patented specifically for regatta racing; rare first-series Yachtingraf with Valjoux 92 column-wheel chronograph movement; later rotating countdown bezel
Condition: Fantastic original condition overall with only light signs of use; thick stainless steel case with sharp lugs appears to be nearly unpolished; original first-execution dial with vibrant colors; original first-execution handset
Other: We strongly believe that the Yachtingraf is one of the coolest watches that money can buy, especially at this price point. This particular example is one of the earliest Yachtingrafs as it is powered by a superior Valjoux 92 column-wheel movement. Other distinguishing features include a larger regatta sub-register on an aluminum base (instead of white) with a slightly different shade of blue color and different minute and hour hands. You'll also notice that the style of the crown and caseback are different than those found on later executions. Very few first-execution examples are known to exist and those branded by LeJour for the U.S. market are considerably more rare than Yema.
