Features: Stunning original glossy black gilt dial with luminous Arabic numerals; original gold-tone handset with all luminous material in tact and matching; 30-minute chronograph recording capability; telemeter scale for military use; tachymeter scale for racing applications
Condition: Very nice original condition overall with minor wear consistent with age and light use; razor-sharp case is in great condition overall with minimal wear on the underside of the lugs and flat pushers; crisp caseback with all printing clearly visible; original glossy dial with incredible gilt (gold) printing is in excellent condition for its age; one minor blemish on the outer edge of the dial at 5 o'clock (barely noticeable); original gold-tone handset with all luminous material in tact and matching
Other: This World War II-era chronograph from Helbros is in exceptional condition considering its age (black luminous Radium dials from this time period rarely survived the test of time). With gilt-gloss dials all the rage right now and prices steadily climbing, we had to work our magic to be able to offer this Helbros for under a grand. We recommend wearing it with a green military jacket and jeans or under the cuff of a dark blazer.
