Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk ref. 7201 ('Eggshell' Dial)

Brand: Girard-Perregaux

Model: Sea Hawk ref. 7201 (Rare Model Variation); Swiss Made circa early 1960s

Case: Solid stainless steel case with screw-down back is approximately 34.5mm excluding the original signed "GP" winding crown

Strap: Vintage 18mm genuine leather strap with matching stitching and polished tang buckle

Movement: Girard-Perregaux cal. 20 manual-winding movement (17 jewels) with center sweeping seconds; 18,000 BPH; Swiss Made

Features: Stunning original "eggshell" dial with applied "GP" logo, luminous "torch" indices, and Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o'clock; original luminous hands; original center sweeping-seconds hand; solid stainless steel case with screw-down back and great proportions; domed acrylic crystal; rare GP Sea Hawk model variation

Condition: Very nice original condition overall with minor honest wear consistent with age and use; solid stainless steel case remains thick and sharp with the original chamfers/bevels visible on each lug; crisp screw-down caseback is marked "STAINLESS STEEL" on the outer edge; original dial has aged to an attractive eggshell/off-white hue over time with all lume plots present; original hands with some luminous material missing from the hour hand (hardly noticeable); clean domed acrylic crystal

Other: This rare Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk is absolutely gorgeous with its creamy "eggshell" dial and once it's gone, you won't find another one exactly like it. We love the large Arabic numerals at 6 and 12 o'clock and the luminous "torch" indices. The steel screw-back case slides nicely under a cuff and sits comfortably on the wrist. If you're looking for a versatile and unique conversation piece with a workhorse manual-winding movement, this is it!
