Movement: Elgin cal. 328 (base FHF-ST cal. 96-4) manual-winding movement with date (17 jewels); 18,000 BPH; Swiss Made
Features: Stunning original three-color Tritium dial with applied logo and indices; date display at 3 o'clock; original Tritium handset
Condition: Nearly new old stock (NOS) original condition overall with only light signs of shelf wear from handling and storage; crisp unpolished case is in mint condition overall with only a few minor hairline scratches and appears to be unworn with the original sticker on the caseback; gorgeous original three-color dial with all lume plots present and in tact; one minor spot on the dial near 10 o'clock marker; perfect original handset with all lume in tact; a couple of very minor scratches on the original acrylic crystal
Other: This rare Elgin was acquired directly from a former employee of the Elgin Watch Company. The color combination is absolutely incredible and the watch wears extremely well on the wrist with its larger case and modern feel. And how about the dial? It is really something special with its shiny black outer track, dark grey inner track, and brushed silver center. Oh and the vintage Italian lizard strap pulls everything together and matches the dial perfectly. It doesn't get much cooler than this for $525...
