Condition: Very nice original condition overall with honest wear consistent with age and use; vibrant original exotic green "Paul Newman" dial is in mint condition with crisp printing throughout and attractive yellow Tritium patina; excellent original white handset with all Tritium luminous material in tact and matching; unpolished solid stainless steel case is thick and sharp with wide original bevels; crisp caseback remains clearly legible; acrylic crystal is clean and sharp with the correct original profile

Croton manufactured this reference with black, burgundy, and green dials with green being the rarest and most desirable of the trio. The matte green texture sparkles in the sunlight. The sub-dials have developed almost a tropical bronze hue. This example was acquired directly from the original owner and is totally honest and original except for the crystal and gaskets. We sourced a new acrylic crystal with the correct original profile. This particular reference 953011 was designed for land, sea, and air to do pretty much anything and everything from racing to diving and even flying. We love the overall retro look on the mesh bracelet. How did Croton pack so many features into one watch without it being over-the-top and busy? This one is the definition of cool!
