Features: Stunning original Tritium dial with yellow patina; original white "lollipop" sweeping-seconds hand; original rotating "tropical" bezel displays elapsed time for dives; solid stainless steel case with great proportions
Condition: Fantastic original condition overall with minor honest wear for a dive watch from this era; solid stainless steel case is thick and sharp; original dial and handset; white "lollipop" seconds hand is missing a tiny bit of white paint towards the base; original rotating dive bezel has aged from black to an incredible tropical burgundy hue; a couple of very minor toolmarks on the caseback
Other: The dial of this 666 feet Devil Diver is reminiscent of one of the best watches ever made (the Rolex Explorer ref. 1016). And just like the 1016 Explorer, the Caravelle Sea Hunter comes with perfect proportions at 36mm with a 20mm lug width. Also, let's not forget about the desirable white "lollipop" seconds hand on this later example! This watch is extremely versatile and can be worn with just about anything. We recommend sporting it casually with a t-shirt and jeans (green military jacket optional).
