Other: This is a very rare opportunity to own one of the coolest and most coveted Super Compressors of all time: the first-execution Universal Genève Polerouter Sub. This early example is in fantastic original condition and its 42mm case with curved lugs wears extremely well on the wrist. If you're wondering about the different size crowns, they are believed to be original and characteristic of the earliest production runs of the Polerouter Sub. This makes sense given the age of this particular example. Eric Wind even made note of this in his April 18, 2014 installment of HODINKEE's Bring A Loupe. Our favorite design element has to be the non-luminous hour markers printed in white with little lume dots at the outer edge of each marker - What a unique and wild design! These white hour markers typically age to a yellow hue over time, which has occurred on this piece.
