Other: This incredible vintage JDM Seiko 5 Sports Speed-Timer is the definition of cool - How did they pack so many features into one watch while maintaining such a balanced and appealing design aesthetic? We love the matte black "PROOF" dial found only on early examples. Speaking of early examples, this watch retains its original two-piece second hand. It is getting exceedingly difficult to find early original JDM 6139 watches, especially with this original bracelet. The blacked-out day-date display with Japanese "Kanji" characters is so killer - especially on Sunday when it turns to red... The red and black combo is hard to beat. This particular Speed-Timer is the best we've had and it's ready to pair with your Japanese sports car (such as a Honda S2000 in Berlina Black).

Our watchmaker installed a new mineral glass crystal and fresh gaskets all around. The original crystal will also be included with the watch. Speaking of the 6139 movement, it was quite possibly the very first automatic chronograph movement to come to market commercially (in May of 1969).
