Other: This is a very rare opportunity to acquire an elusive Gallet Decimal, one of our favorite watches of all time from any brand. Originally designed by Gallet in the early 1940s for use in scientific, laboratory, medical, and time study applications, it was able to divide elapsed time into tenths and/or hundredths at a quick glance. This particular example is an early first-series model with characteristic snap-back steel case and "flat" pushers - Its thin profile wears extremely well on the wrist. The beautiful dial with desirable art-deco numerals (check out the curled "7") has developed a light and pleasing patina over time. Its creamy hue matches the stitching of the strap and looks great with anything from a green military jacket to a casual blazer. Only a small group of individuals are fortunate enough to own a Gallet Decimal chronograph...
