Other: We are extremely pleased to offer this rare Bulova Sea King Wrist Alarm watch straight from our founder, Justin's personal collection. This watch is particularly interesting because it's a combination of Bulova's earlier Wrist Alarm models and their "waterproof" Sea King lineup (typically marketed with a cool "whale" logo on the dial). These were produced in very low numbers and for a very short period of time. Based upon our research and experience, we believe that this exact variation with the wide-grooved crowns was produced only in 1969 (M9 date code). It features a unique dial and handset housed in a slightly thicker case than standard Wrist Alarm models to accommodate the date function. While the LeCoultre Memovox and Vulcain Cricket get all the praise, these fly quietly under the radar (but not for long). In fact, this is Justin's favorite Bulova Wrist Alarm model of all.
