Other: "Should you own a watch that can go places you can't? The Bulova Oceanographer "M" will run at 666 feet under the sea. And at Himalayan altitudes. And beyond." What a great advertisement from Bulova! This rare Oceanographer Snorkel variation was only produced for one year (1969), making it all the more desirable. Check out the deep blue dial with metallic silver minute track and matching yellow lume throughout. We love how the blue section on the acrylic diver bezel has faded to a pleasing "ghost" grey hue, but the red section has remained bright and vibrant and matches the red numerals on the original date wheel. Speaking of the date wheel, it is interesting to note that the original advertisement for the watch shows black numerals, a subtle detail that Bulova changed before going into production. The correct original date wheel should always be white with red numerals.
