Condition: Fantastic original condition overall with minor honest wear consistent with age and use; sharp solid stainless steel case is unpolished with the original finishes throughout; crisp screw-down caseback remains clearly legible; vibrant original brown dial with all luminous material in tact and matching; excellent original hands with all luminous material in tact and matching; new tempered mineral glass crystal; very nice unpolished original Seiko "Fishbone" bracelet matches the overall condition of the watch

Other: This vintage Seiko "Bullhead" is the definition of cool - How did Seiko pack so many features into one watch while retaining such a balanced and appealing design aesthetic? We love the brown dial and tachymeter bezel! The quick-set day of the week can be displayed in English or Spanish, and Sunday is shown in red. Seiko opted for a yellow chronograph seconds hand on this model for increased legibility and it all just works so well. This particular "Bullhead" comes in superb original condition on its desirable original Seiko "Fishbone" bracelet and is ready to wear trackside or pair with your vintage Japanese sports car. It wears smaller than its stated size given that the crown and pushers are on top of the case. Brad Pitt's character actually wore a similar vintage "Bullhead" chronograph from Citizen in the recent movie, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood - It's worth seeing if you haven't already!

For peace of mind, the in-house Seiko 6138 movement has just been completely overhauled by our watchmaker with a new crystal and fresh gaskets installed at the time of service. Speaking of the 6138 movement, it has manual-winding capability (unlike the 6139), but also features a smooth column-wheel and vertical-clutch engagement system.
