Condition: Very nice original condition overall with only minor wear consistent with age and use; 34mm Rolex Oyster case with 14K gold shell completely in tact; smooth bezel exhibits some light patina to the gold; stainless steel screw-down caseback remains completely legible with its original presentation engraving; very attractive original silver sunburst dial with crisp gold Hallmark coronet logo and full Tritium lume plots; excellent original matching Tritium hands; clean and sharp acrylic crystal; new 19mm handmade calfskin strap
Other: It's hard to believe that Rolex allowed Hallmark Cards to display their coronet logo on the dial in a more prominent way than Rolex's own coronet. The large and wide Hallmark logo applied in sparkly gold is the coolest thing about this watch. This particular example comes with its correct corresponding caseback engraving for added provenance. It was presented to David T. Webster for "TWENTY FIVE YEARS OF LOYAL ASSOCIATION" (November 9, 1959-84). The 7.66M serial also dates the watch to 1984. It is a very unique conversation piece that can double as a dress watch or be worn casually.
