Other: If you're turning 40 this year, this would be a perfect birthyear watch! While vintage Speedmaster watches are not exactly rare, honest original examples like this are becoming exceedingly difficult to find. We discovered this 1983 Omega Speedmaster locally and are thrilled to offer it for sale. Upon opening the caseback, our watchmaker confirmed that the movement looked pristine and untouched - just what we love to hear. He proceeded to disassemble the case for ultrasonic cleaning, including the bracelet components. Fresh gaskets were installed inside the pushers and caseback upon re-assembly. The watch is absolutely stunning on the wrist, especially in the direct sunlight. It keeps great time and the chronograph functions smoothly as it should. For less than the cost of a brand new Speedmaster, going vintage is a no-brainer. Especially if you can find one like this with a crisp case, original bracelet, flawless dial, and matching original handset. With all of the important Omega Speedmaster watches coming up for auction, we expect vintage prices to continue to rise.
