Other: If you fancy wearing a vintage watch that nobody else has, this wild Lucien Piccard "Unicorn" watch may be the perfect piece. You probably didn't even know that this model existed... We had never seen one before and it's actually quite difficult to believe that this was marketed back in the early 1960s as a Seashark model with a solid gold dial and "waterproof" case. In terms of rarity, we've only been able to find one other example and it was in much lesser condition. The example that we are offering for sale here is in top collector-grade condition and comes from Justin's personal collection. The case is completely unpolished with sharp finishes throughout including the bark-finish bezel. Even the automatic movement is unique. It is based on a Swiss A. Schild cal. 1656 and features an off-center rotor and integrated winding gear (like you would find on a manual-winding movement). These technical innovations led to a sensationally thin auto-winding movement for the time period. Everything about this watch is just killer! We seriously doubt you'll ever find another example in this condition.
