Other: If you're anything like us, you fantasize about the good old days when a classic wrist alarm watch would remind you of daily tasks or even wake you up in the morning. While LeCoultre and Vulcain get all the praise, Bulova Wrist Alarm models fly quietly under the radar (no pun intended). Sometimes we actually prefer a great Bulova Wrist Alarm like this collector-grade example from 1962 - Just look at the cool squiggly alarm hand! This particular watch comes from the earliest batch of 11285 Wrist Alarm models (M2 date code). These rare early examples feature a "WATERPROOF" dial with "SWISS" at the bottom and no "T" markings for Tritium. We love the subtle brushed silver center and beautiful cream-colored outer track. The fine mesh bracelet really completes the 1960s vibe. This is one of the best overall examples of a Bulova Wrist Alarm that we've had the privilege of offering. As an added bonus, the in-house alarm movement has just been completely overhauled by our watchmaker with a NOS factory Bulova mainspring, crystal, and caseback gasket installed at the time of service. A simple turn of the bottom crown sets the alarm hand, while pulling out the crown engages the alarm to sound at that time.
