Other: Looking for a more affordable substitution for a vintage Rolex Datejust? This museum-grade Bulova Oceanographer "B" is a perfect alternative - And it's even cooler... While seemingly everyone has a Datejust, you'll probably never run into anyone else wearing one of these, especially in this condition and with its original JB Champion bracelet. "This big, bold watch makes you feel every inch an aquanaut, even if you just wear it to the office every day." This one is special in part because it is the finest example that we've ever seen. Furthermore, it just so happens to be an extremely early example circa 1968 (the vast majority were produced in 1969). The first examples of the Oceanographer featured "SUPER WATERPROOF" text on the dial, a subtle but important detail. Bulova removed that line of text on later examples. With a fluted bezel and nearly identical case dimensions as a Rolex Datejust, it wears incredibly well for only a fraction of the price. It should come as no surprise that this is one of the best vintage Bulova wristwatches that we've ever the privilege of offering.
