Bulova Deep Sea Chronograph circa 1971

Brand: Bulova

Model: Deep Sea Chronograph 666 Feet Diver (Blue "Ghost" Bezel and Blue Dial); Swiss Made; N1 date code = 1971

Case: Solid stainless steel case with screw-down back is approximately 38mm excluding the original Bulova signed crown

Bracelet: Vintage 20mm Bulova solid stainless steel bracelet with signed fold-over clasp (rare)

Movement: Bulova cal. 14 EB (Valjoux cal. 7733) manual-winding chronograph movement (17 jewels); Swiss Made; N1 date code = 1971

Features: Stunning original blue dial with yellow Tritium lume plots; original handset with matching Tritium patina; 30-minute chronograph recording capability; original blue rotating "ghost" dive bezel; original acrylic super-dome crystal

Condition: Fantastic original condition overall with minor honest wear; solid stainless steel case retains its original finishes and sharp edges and appears to be unpolished; original blue rotating dive bezel has lightly faded to a nice "ghost" hue; Tritium lume plots at 7 o'clock and 8 o'clock have mostly flaked off of the dial

Other: Bulova Deep Sea Chronographs have been consistently rising in value and popularity over the past year or so (and for obvious reasons). Simply put, it's hard to beat a quality vintage chronograph like this for the money. The lightly-faded "ghost" bezel on this example is super cool and makes the darker blue dial pop. This is a perfect spring/summer watch and at 38mm, it wears so well on the wrist!
