Other: This rare vintage Arctos World-Time Chronograph packs a lot of features into one incredibly utilitarian pilot watch. With a rotating world-time bezel, one can quickly determine the current time in other major world cities at a glance. It is powered by a robust Lemania 5100 automatic chronograph movement that is popular in collector circles due to its unique design layout and overall functionality. The large central minute counter with legible red "airplane" tip tracks elapsed minutes while the small red hand tracks elapsed hours in the sub-register located at 6 o'clock - Very innovative! There is also a constant 24-hour display located at 12 o'clock to instantly determine AM vs. PM hours. The convenient quick-set day and date are located at 3 o'clock to maintain a well-balanced aesthetic. The day disc is in French, which is a nice touch given that the watch was originally produced in Switzerland and likely remained there for most of its life. We love the look of the matte black dial with contrast white printing. This watch was clearly designed with function and legibility in mind and we wouldn't expect any less out of a pilot watch.
